Exceptionalism

EXCEPTIONALISM is a word that has come forward during this administration.  But not for the same reasons that it has in the past.  Ronald Reagan spoke with heart warm words about the exceptionalism of America. This President, Mr. Obama, thinks it is no different than the feelings of people around the world toward their countries.  He clearly does not know the true meaning of the word in the context of America and its accomplishments over the past couple of hundred years–the accomplishments due to a country of opportunity.

Is Barack Obama the Comedian in Chief?

Do you agree with Congressman (House Speaker) Boehner who says that President Barack Obama is “diminishing the presidency by picking fake fights” as he seeks re-election? By appearing on so many social media shows, is he acting like a rock star or a president?

How crazy is this methodology? Democrats are more concerned about their voting record than the state of our nation.

What do Women Voters Care About?

ChuckFloydPictureThe highest priority of the Obama political machine for the last three years has been to find new ways to divide Americans so that they can distract voters from the catastrophic economic consequences of the Obama record. Yet, the mainstream media's coverage of the Obama record can make one think otherwise. The doctored jobs and economic reports from the Obama Administration buoyed the poll number in his favor. On the public relations front, Mr. Obama has been on an upward trajectory. Here is Obama the champion of the hapless poor. There is Obama feeling the pain of the middle class. Obama rides to the rescue of Sandra Fluke - the pugnacious law student and America's sweat heart in the war on women.

Achieving Motherhood

SueGhoshStricklettDemocratic strategist Hilary Rosen's remark that Ann Romney does not understand the economic plight of women because she "never worked a day in her life" touched a nerve among moms who - despite the success they have achieved in their professional careers - value motherhood as among their most difficult undertaking and among their greatest achievements.  Supporting moms and dads who take their parenting role seriously should be the top goal of not only the communities where they live, but the companies where they work.  But this is not always the case since the values articulated in public policy debates and also in business decision-making are out of whack with what a majority of Americans view as family values.
